As promised, here are all the wonderful goodies I received in the mail during the first part of July! It’s a great mix of publisher sent arcs to review, arcs I traded for, preorders, and purchases. Expect to see reviews of many of these in the near future.
I meant to get this post done before leaving on vacation, but that didn’t quite work out. So this post will showcase the second half of June, and I’ll have another post later in the week with my book mail for the beginning of July! It’s been a crazy couple of months for mail, and it’s all so exciting 🙂
So many books, so little time! Here’s another catch-up post with new additions to my collection. Starting with the last package I received from Round 9 of OTSP Secret Sister. I don’t remember sharing this one, and it was full of awesome. If I have shared this one before, well, I’m just excited!
It’s been awhile since my last book haul post, and I’ve gathered several fun new titles for my personal library. I’m just so excited to read them! Do you see any here that are on your TBR?
This is my Book Outlet purchase from the Boxing Day sale. I used this opportunity to pick up several new manga, an isekai light novel, an art book, the newest Invisible Library volume, and a paperback copy of Godsgrave (so I can keep my hardcover in good condition).
With all of the craziness that comes with the end of the year and holidays, I’ve been unable to document all the lovely books that I’ve been blessed with. Both pre-holiday and as Christmas presents. In this post, I will focus on the goodies not associated with the holidays. Another post will deal with all the lovely secret santas that I participated in. I’m really excited to share all of these wonderful books!
The top three are books I purchased on Amazon Prime Day with their coupon. The Rule of One arc is from work, and the other two are trades from lovely people on the #booksfortrade tag.
As promised, here is a more in-depth look at the fabulous books available at this year’s ALA Annual conference down in New Orleans. There were some amazing publishers and authors, and I was so glad to be able to participate in all the book buzz events and other activities in addition to my cataloging meetings.
For the three nights that I stayed in a hotel room, I was able to spread my books out and take pictures. I was not able to do that with the fun books I picked up on Monday, so today I just have pictures of what I picked up. Tomorrow’s post will go more in depth for the various titles and who I picked them up for. I would like to point out the signed Buffy the Vampire Slayer board game that I won during the raffle at ALA Gaming, which is one of my favorite additions to the conference. Can’t wait to test out this game!
So, normally I don’t go crazy and order a million things that all show up on the same day, but since the mail has been a little slow, September is full of amazing new releases, September is also full of art show prep and a Leigh Bardugo event, and I’d traded for several books, plus you throw in a holiday. Can you see where this is going? All these things combined meant that yesterday I came home to a tower of boxes that almost reached my hips (and I’m not short). I loved every second of opening each one and gazing at all the beautiful new books that probably won’t fit on my shelves at this time 🙂
